I decided to focus one project around autism. It’s a neurological disorder that affects social skills, learning comprehension and how someone absorbs information. It affects millions of people’s daily lives in a negative way since society wasn’t built with them in mind.

This has left many autistic adults without a job, education, or purpose in life. Even with college degrees, it’s still a struggle to find and maintain employment.

I wanted to create a brand that focuses on introducing autistic children to as many hobbies as possible in a monthly subscription box. One amazing trait of autistic people is their ability to focus on a hobby or interest they truly love. I believe if autistic children were introduced to different hobbies, maybe they can find one that piques their interest. This could either lead to just having a fun, relaxing hobby or it could gently stir them towards a career path in something they’re invested in.
